Stretch Your Missions Giving and Know 100% Will Be Used As Designated

For those individuals, churches, civic organizations, Sunday School classes or mission groups who desire to provide funds for specific ministry efforts the following opportunities are available:

Bibles ……Very few individuals posses a Bible because they simply cannot afford one. For $25 you can purchase 4 Bibles or for $300 you can purchase a case of 48 Bibles, which may meet the needs of an entire church.

Sunday School and Discipleship Training Material …… Imagine Sunday School or discipleship training without literature. $100 will provide Sunday School or training material for a teacher and 10 students for a year.


Food for the Hungry …… It is hard to share the gospel when the person with whom you are witnessing has no food. A gift of $50 will provide rice, beans, flour, salt, sugar and cooking oil that will feed a family for a month.

Pastoral Scholarship …... Imagine feeling called by God to serve as a pastor with little or no resources to purchase a study Bible, a Bible dictionary, a commentary and no opportunity to receive Biblical training.  UCM’s School of Pastoral Leadership in Jinotega, Nicaragua, is helping meet those needs. A gift of $250 will provide lodging, meals, textbooks, and supplies for two training sessions per year. A student will take four classes per year. The gift will also enable the pastor to receive a Study Bible and a Bible Dictionary, or a Commentary.

Gospel Tracts …… A gospel tract is sought after and cherished. A gift of $6 to $10 will provide 200 gospel tracts to be used in church evangelism efforts.

Educate a Child Sponsorship …… A gift of $180 per year will enable a child to go to school by purchasing three complete sets of required uniforms as well as 2 pairs of shoes, 6 pairs of socks, Bible, dictionary, book bag, and school supplies. It will also enable the local church to provide two hours of spiritual training per child per week. Sponsors receive child photos and yearly updates.

Skills for Life ...… This initiative enables the church to provide tool kits to individuals enabling them to earn a living and thus help meet the needs of the church and the families in the church. A gift of $100 or more will provide any one of the following tool kits:

• Carpenter’s
• Mason’s
• Electrician’s
• Mechanic’s

Nursing Home Ministries to the Elderly …… Can you visualize 14 iron beds to a room with one toilet and a big bucket for a tub? We have found residents with no pillows or blankets with only rice or beans to eat and not even an aspirin for pain. A gift of any amount will help provide food, medicine, cleaning supplies and the necessities of life.

Christian Radio Station …… Radio Jireh, 104.5 FM, is a struggling radio station reaching a population of 170,000 with a goal of reaching 55% of Nicaragua’s nearly 6 million people. A gift of $75.00 will fund the station’s operation for a week or a gift of $300.00 will fund the station’s operation for a month.

Prison/Jail Ministry …… Visualize cells built with two cement bunk beds containing 12 inmates. Each cell has one light bulb, no running water and a bucket for a toilet. Imagine being a police officer and walking over mountainous terrain with no flashlight, radio or handcuffs. Mission opportunities are bountiful for law enforcement as well as inmates. UCM Sponsored churches provide both spiritual and physical food. Ministering in Jesus’ name to loved ones in jail, ministers to the whole family. A gift of any amount will be appreciated.

Operational Funds …… The administrative activities funded in our operational expenses are necessary for managing a successful ministry. A gift of any amount designated for the operational needs of the ministry enables the ministry to grow and reach more for Christ.
